Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Scinalytics AI platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.

2. Description of Services

Scinalytics AI provides a cloud-based school management platform including student information management, attendance tracking, grade management, fee processing, timetable generation, AI-powered analytics, and communication tools. The Service is available as a progressive web application (PWA) with offline capabilities.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Fees & Payment

Subscription fees are billed monthly or annually as selected during registration. Prices are listed in USD. Payment is processed through our authorized payment providers (Paynow, PayFast, Stripe). All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as explicitly stated in your subscription agreement.

5. Data Ownership & Privacy

You retain all rights to the data you input into the Service. We do not claim ownership of your school data, student records, or any content you create. Our use of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy. We will not access your data except to provide the Service, respond to support requests, or as required by law.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other accounts; interfere with or disrupt the Service; use the Service for any unlawful purpose; upload malicious code or content; or circumvent any security features.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Scinalytics AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination, you may export your data within 30 days. After 30 days, we reserve the right to delete your data in accordance with our data retention policies. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe. Any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
