We also collect usage data automatically, including IP addresses, browser type, device information, pages visited, and interaction patterns to improve our services.

Your data is used to provide and improve the Scinalytics AI platform, including: managing student records, processing attendance and grades, generating reports, facilitating communication between schools and parents, processing fee payments, and powering AI-driven insights.
3. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Student records are retained in accordance with educational regulations in your jurisdiction. You may request deletion of your data at any time, subject to legal retention requirements.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with: payment processors (Paynow, PayFast, Stripe) to process transactions; cloud infrastructure providers to host our services; and as required by law or legal process.
5. Your Rights

6. GDPR & POPIA Compliance
Scinalytics AI is designed with data protection principles at its core. We implement data minimization, purpose limitation, and storage limitation. For users in the European Union, we comply with GDPR requirements. For users in South Africa, we align with POPIA (Protection of Personal Information Act) principles.

We protect your data with AES-256-GCM encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 encryption in transit, Argon2id password hashing, two-factor authentication, and role-based access control. See our Security page for details.
